DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Rock Creek Nature Center auditorium to hear poetry by Rosemary Winslow and  Jacklyn Potter Young Poets Rida Ali\, Sofia Flynn & Michaela Lacy. Special guest Miles David Moore will read Joaquin Miller’s poem “Columbus.” \n\n\n \n\n\nBring a short poem for the open reading (sign up begins at 2:45). \n\n\n \n\n\nPlenty of free parking. The Nature Center is located at the far north side of the Horse Stables. She is also author of Green Bodies\, a Hilary Tham Capital Collection book from The Word Works. \nOur Jacklyn Potter Young Poets were invited from Virginia (Rida Ali)\, Washington\, DC (Sofia Flynn) and Maryland (Michaela Lacy). Michaela Lacy is Youth Poet Laureate of Prince Georges County.
