Other recent Word Works authors will be joining in the festivities as time allows\, including Nathalie Anderson\, Henry Crawford\, Debbie Kuan\, Leah Umansky\, and more. FREE and open to the public! \nAfter a brief break at 7\, Karren Alenier will lead readings from her project From the Belly: Poets Respond to Gertrude Stein’s Tender Buttons\, Vol. III Rooms. Poets will read their portion of “Rooms\,” discuss the basis for their response\, then each share the poem they wrote in response to Stein’s landmark work.
