Emilio Iasiello is a published poet, screenwriter, and playwright. His poetry has been published in several university and literary journals, and in a collection, Smoke in the Afterlife.  An avid screenwriter, Emilio has authored several independent films and short films.   His stage plays have been produced in the United States and United Kingdom.

Terri Merz was the co-founder/co-owner of Chapters Literary Bookstore for its 22 years in operation. She was a 2013 – 2014 Lannan Fellow at G.U.’s Center for Poetics and Social Practice, and also awarded a D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities Individual Artist Fellowship. She graduated in May 2019 from G.U. with an M.A. in Liberal Studies, in the discipline of Literature and Society. Her thesis, A Mirror and a Barometer: On the Public Use of Poetry, is published online.
